BERESTA PALACEIn December 1991 MARCO POLO HOTELS & RESORTS has opened the Beresta Palace Hotel in historic Novgorod. This project is a joint venture between the Austrian Company ABV (Allgemeine Bauten - Vertriebsges. m.b.H) and the Novocon Co-operative of the Novgorod Regional Committee.
The hotel has 203 rooms and 23 suites. All rooms are equipped with bath and lavatory, colour TV, radio-alarm clock and mini bar. In addition to restaurants and shops there is a cosmetic institute and dental clinic on the ground floor. On the lower level there is a swimming pool with sauna, massage, solarium and pool bar. Also located here are a night club which is managed other owners, casino and a pub as well as a multi-purpose conferences room with a capacity of 160 persons. Also barber's and hairdresser's shop, parking space, car lease, tennis courts are available.

INTOURIST hotelThe Intourist Hotel is a 3-storey building of modern design. Its facade is decorated with mosaics based on a Novgorodian epic motif. On the ground floor of the hotel is the front office, a left-luggage room, a beauty and barber shop, a souvenir kiosk, a souvenir shop, and coin- operating long-distance telephones. In the lounge on the first floor is a currency exchange desk. The hotel has 120 first class guestrooms as well as two comfortable suites featuring top-quality furniture and fixtures and fitted with TV and refrigerator.
Adjoining the main building of the hotel is 2-storey building of the Intourist Restaurant. The restaurant has a bar and a banquet hall seating 48. The restaurant, serving European cuisine, also offers house specialities.
